"There is so much writing in English on Japanese cinema that can't be accepted at face value — not because the writers are careless, but because the differences in culture and language are just too intricate. When I see August Ragone's name on a piece of writing, it gives me permission to place my faith in it completely. Among Japanese fantasy film historians, he's the best working in English." —Tim Lucas, Video Watchdog

Prof,
It is from the 1953 production of 『太平洋の鷲』(Taiheiyo-no Washi) or EAGLE OF THE PACIFIC about the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor.

Cheers,
August

Hi August,

I was wondering if you could help me out:

Do you know who owns the copyright to this image, and indeed, if a high res copy exists?

Please e-mail me, lroden@mentorn.tv if you do.

Thanks,
Lee Roden.
